Academic Survival
The SEEK program believes that students on probation can improve their GPA with the professional guidance of counselors, commitment to make significant behavioral changes, utilization of different forms of counseling, tutoring, and instructional services, and by seriously evaluating their personal and academic goals and motivation. The purpose of the Academic Survival program is to make sure that students are working toward meeting the Baruch’s GPA requirements by identifying and developing essential skills that ensure academic and personal success.
Strengths Initiative
The SEEK Strengths Initiative is a program that fosters well-being and resiliency in college students by helping them identify and apply their greatest character strengths. Participating students attend both individual coaching sessions and monthly group workshops.
