    Request Access To CUNYfirst

To gain access to CUNYfirst, CUNY requires an approved form to be submitted for each individual. For most forms, the approval process for a role in CUNYfirst is as follows:

    1. The requester will download and complete the employee information section. The confidentiality agreement code must be included on the form. Important: be sure to check-off the correct access.  If you have questions about the correct access and roles, please email?????
    2. The requester will provide the form to their manager.
    3. The manager will complete the managerial approval section and sign the completed form.
    4. The requester or their manager will email the form to helpdesk1@baruch.cuny.edu. Please add CUNYfirst Access to the Subject field of your email.
    5. Please be sure to cc ????? on the email.  The email will serve several purposes: 1) automatically create a help desk ticket and place the request in a queue, 2) alert the ??? team that a new request is waiting for their review/approval.
    6. The ticket will be assigned to the Subject Matter Expert for their approval.  They, in turn, will work with CUNY staff to setup the roles.  Finally, they will re-assign the ticket back to the Baruch ASL.
    7. The form will be processed by the ASL and the roles will be assigned in CUNYfirst.
    8. A member of the ASL team will alert the requester, via the help desk ticket generated on step #4, that their access has been assigned in CUNYfirst.
    9. The requester will log in to CUNYfirst to confirm their access.
    10. The requester will be contacted by a member of the training team to schedule training.
