    You may request your official transcript at Baruch College by using our online transcript service provider, Parchment.

    Ordering

    • You may order an official transcript at any time online.
      • Requests are not currently accepted in person, by phone, or by mail.
    • Transcript requests are generally processed within three to five business days.
      • PDF: Electronic PDF transcripts are delivered within one business day. [recommended method of delivery]
      • Printed & mailed: Printed transcripts are mailed by USPS and may take 10-15 business days (longer for international mailing).
    • Baruch College and Parchment are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect recipient information; therefore, we strongly recommend verifying all details before placing your order.
    • Students ordering online will receive notifications via email and can check their Parchment account for order status.

    • A valid credit or debit card is required for payment at the time of ordering.
    • Although there is no fee for sending transcripts to other CUNY colleges, the service charges still apply.
    • Starting January 6th, 2025, sales tax will be collected on certain document requests, including transcripts and diplomas, in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. This change may affect the total cost of your request based on various factors such as document type, method of delivery, and location. Before completing your order, you will see a breakdown of all charges, including any applicable taxes, to ensure total transparency.

    Additional Information

    • If you need your request to be held for current semester grades or degree conferral, please be sure to choose that option when ordering the transcript.
    • Students with CUNYfirst access can obtain their unofficial transcript from the Student Center, free of charge.
    • Additional forms (e.g. CPA, licensure, etc.), that need to be attached with the transcript, can be securely uploaded during the ordering process.
      • Please allow additional time for processing of forms before the transcripts + form can be sent.
    • Transcripts for non-credit, non-degree courses offered by the former Division of Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS) should email CAPS@baruch.cuny.edu.
    • Older academic records
      • Transcript records prior to 2014 may take up to five business days for processing.
      • Transcript records prior to 1980 must be retrieved from Archive and may take up to 15 business days to be processed.

    For transcript questions, send an e-mail to transcripts@baruch.cuny.edu. Please make sure to include your name and your CUNY ID number (or the last 4 digits of your social security number) in all communications.

    Educational Documents Authentication / Apostille Process
    • You should first review the following links:
      • New York State Apostille or Certificate of Authentication
      • New York City Apostille Document Authentication (optional)
    • You should determine which educational documents (e.g. transcripts and original or duplicate/copy of diplomas) are required by the foreign country.
      • Official Transcripts
        • An order can be placed via Parchment (see above) with an attachment uploaded with instructions to prepare locally.
      • Diplomas
        • An original diploma can be brought in person or mailed in advance to the Office of the Registrar.
        • A duplicate diploma should be ordered online for local pick up at the Office of the Registrar.
          • Questions about ordering a duplicate diploma can be directed to diplomas@baruch.cuny.edu.
        • If a copy of a diploma will suffice, it can be emailed to transcripts@baruch.cuny.edu.
      • Other documents subject to review.
    • Please make sure you have all original documentation in your possession at the time of your request. The Registrar will authenticate your documents with a statement that the document is an official record or a true copy of the original document.
    • Please email transcripts@baruch.cuny.edu in advance if a proxy will be responsible as additional authorization will be needed.
    • Processing times may vary depending on what documents are requested as well as notary public availability.
      • We are not able to accommodate special requests or expedited processing.
    • The nominal fee charged by the Registrar notaries public must be paid prior to pick up if using agreed-upon peer-to-peer option OR with exact cash at point of pick up.
      • You may also choose to bring your own notary public.
    • Email notification of pick-up or mail can be requested.
