Admitted Students
If you have not received an acceptance email, please log into your CUNYfirst account to check your admission status. If you have already received your acceptance email, congratulations!
Here’s what to do after being admitted:

- Accept Our Offer of Admission
Log into your CUNYFirst account, click on “Student Center” then “View Details” for Baruch College, followed by “Accept Offer,” finally “Confirm Accept Offer.” Also, check out the CUNY Admitted Student page. - Commit to Baruch
Click on Pay Commitment Deposit to pay a non-refundable $100 commitment deposit by credit card or e-check. See the deadline as stated in your acceptance email. (If you do not see the Pay Commitment Deposit button, your deposit has been waived.) - Submit Additional Credits
All transcripts listing college coursework taken while in High School must be submitted prior to orientation. For more information you may click here to view a list of credits accepted or check out our Transfer Credit Evaluation Manual. - Claim Your Account
Your Baruch email is now ready for you to claim. Click here for instructions. This email is the way that all official business will be conducted. - Testing
Admitted students will no longer need to take a CUNY exam in order to recieve placement. Students may be placed in Math and English courses in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, meeting benchmark scores on the SAT, ACT, and New York State Regents exams. Admitted freshmen may be required to sit for a writing exam for English placement purposes. You may click here for more information. *English As A Second Language (ESL) Students – Applicants who have spent at least six months or more in an institution where English is not the primary language of instruction are flagged as potential ESL via the CUNY admission process. Please visit the Office of Testing and Evaluation for more information. - Complete the FAFSA (U.S. residents only)
Fill out the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is required to be considered for any financial aid or honors programs. Apply at fafsa.ed.gov. - Submit Immunization Documentation
All students must submit proof of MMR immunization and proof or waiver for Meningitis immunization on or before attending orientation. You cannot register for classes until your forms are turned in. Please submit your immunization documents to the Medical Records Unit within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. If you previously submitted this information to another CUNY college, we will retrieve it electronically. - RSVP for and Attend Orientation
Freshman and Transfer Orientation invitations are emailed on a rolling basis after the commitment deposit has been paid or waived. ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY! - Register for Classes and Pay Your Tuition
After you have registered, you can check your tuition bill on your CUNYfirst account. Tuition payments can be made online, by mail, or in person at the Office of the Bursar. For more information on payment options, please click here. - Review Your Tuition Bill for Proper Tuition Charges
