    Next Steps

All admitted students who plan to attend Baruch College should reserve their place in the incoming class as soon as they have decided to enroll at Baruch. Complete the steps below to reserve your place!

    International Students

After accepting your offer, the next step is to request the Certificate of Eligibility (SEVIS Form I-20) before applying for the F-1 (Student Visa). Check out this video for a guided walkthrough. Please thoroughly review all of the instructions for obtaining your immigration documentation and complete them as soon as possible.

    File Your FAFSA

If you are a U.S. resident, file the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA application becomes available in December 2024. File your FAFSA as soon as possible. The application is required to be considered for any financial aid or honors programs. Apply at studentaid.gov.

    Download Navigate

Download or log into the web version of Navigate to view your To-Do list items and receive notices.

    Testing

Incoming students that are required to take Math or English writing placement exams, will be contacted directly by the The Office of Testing and Evaluation.

Please visit the  Office of Testing and Evaluation  for more information.

    Submit your Immunization Records

To ensure a safer, healthier student community, all students must fulfill mandatory health and immunization requirements in compliance with New York State Public Health Law 2165 and 2167, as well as CUNY policy. All new students must be fully vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Meningitis (proof/waiver).

    MMR/Meningitis:

Submit your Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Meningitis (proof/waiver) documents to medicalrecords@baruch.cuny.edu. If you previously submitted this information to another CUNY college, you do not need to resubmit them.

For more information, you can visit Immunization Policy FAQ.

    Submit Transcripts

    Transfer Students:
All admitted transfer students are required to send official, final college transcripts for each higher education institution attended prior to Baruch College, for courses outside of CUNY. This includes any credit received while in high school as well as any classes that were in progress at the time of admission. Final transcripts must be sent to Baruch as soon as possible after being admitted in order for your transfer credit evaluation to be completed.

In order to be official, transcripts must be sent directly from the institution attended to Baruch. Many schools do this through an online service such as the National Student Clearinghouse. You may need to contact the institutions you attended to have them send your official final transcripts to Baruch College.

Colleges should email a PDF of the transcript to transfer.center@baruch.cuny.edu.

    Claim Your Baruch Tech Accounts

In the weeks following confirmation of your college commitment, you will receive an email with instructions to activate your official Baruch accounts, including your campus email.

All official college communications will be sent via your BaruchMail. See BCTC’s webpage for instructions.

    Academic Advisement

You will be invited to schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor on Navigate after your transfer credits have been evaluated. Meeting with an academic advisor is not mandatory.

For more information, visit: New Transfer Advising

    Register for Classes

Transfer students can register for courses on their own, once assigned an enrollment appointment. Enrollment appointments are assigned as your transfer credit evaluations are processed and you have valid Math and English placements. Be sure to complete any necessary placement exams and to submit all your important documents to Admissions as soon as possible.
