Steps After Orientation
Course Registration
Transfer Students: Register for classes during your Orientation day. Once the Orientation hold has been removed from your record, you will have access to registration on CUNYfirst/Schedule Builder. Advisors and Orientation Leaders are available for assistance during your Orientation program.
First Year Students: First year students are registered for a block program of required courses. Students will view their schedules in CUNYfirst during their Orientation program. Questions about block programs should be directed to Orientation@baruch.cuny.edu. Learn more about Baruch’s First-Year Course Scheduling.
View the Academic Calendar for registration (add/drop) deadlines, the refund schedule and more!

Make online payments in your CUNYfirst Student Center. Go to Finances and select Pay Bill or Enroll/Manage Payment Plan.
Pick Up Your Student ID Card
All students require a Baruch Student ID Card to enter the campus. Please make sure you have uploaded your vaccination records to CUNYFirst. Check the ID Center website for updated ID Center office hours.
First year students will have their photo taken and received their ID card during Orientation.
Meeting with an Academic Advisor After Orientation
Transfer Students: Transfer students will meet with an advisor at Orientation. Visit our meet with an academic advisor page to schedule a one on one appointment with an Advisor after the last day to add a course.
First-Year Students: First year students will be visited by an Academic Advisor during their First-Year Seminar class (FYS 1000) to review the Baruch curriculum and plan for upcoming semesters.
