Steps After Orientation
Covid-19 Update: Due to the Covid-19 outbreak all Orientation programs for the entering class of Fall 2020 will be held online. Visit CUNY’s Coronavirus site for up to date information on CUNY’s response to Covid-19. Visit Baruch’s Covid-19 Updates for Baruch’s plans for continuity and resources for students.
Transfer Students: After completing the online orientation program incoming transfer students use CUNYfirst to register for classes on their own.
First Year Students: First year students are registered for a block program of required courses after attending the online orientation program. Students can view their schedules in CUNYfirst two to three business days after orientation. Questions about block programs should be directed to Orienation@baruch.cuny.edu.

New students have an Orientation (ORT) hold on their CUNYfirst record preventing the scheduling of appointments prior to completing Orientation.
First year students: First year students will be visited by an Academic Advisor during their First-Year Seminar class (FYS 1000) to review the Baruch curriculum and plan for upcoming semesters. Any questions about your first semester classes or changes to your block schedule should be directed to the Orientation team at Orientation@baruch.cuny.edu.
