About Baruch
What’s Baruch about?
You’ll find that our students are driven multi-taskers, highly involved, and have the savvy to take hold of all New York City has to offer.
Is it a business school?
Yes and no! We’ve got great programs across three unique schools: Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, and the Zicklin School of Business.
…but it’s just a commuter school, right?
Nope! We’ve got a great residence hall located on the Upper East Side. A few hundred (and growing) Baruch students choose to live there to get the full college experience. Check out our housing page for more detail.
What’s life on campus like?
With 1,200 fellow freshmen and the resources of a large university at your fingertips, you will always have something new to explore.
Whether you’re a jock, fashionista, nerd, socialite, artsy, or just roll with the wave — you’ll find one of Baruch’s 170 clubs and student organizations to your liking.
Gramercy Park, Union Square and the Flatiron District are all just a few blocks away, along with some of Manhattan’s most attractive streetscapes, world-famous eateries, parks, and shopping.
