Program Overview

Success in your First Year builds the foundation for our network and community of support. Students participate in an intensive pre-college seminar, monthly workshops during the academic year, as well as peer mentoring to involve themselves in co-curricular activities on campus, move successfully toward graduation, and be career-ready.

Why join?

Success in your First Year helps you get the most out of your first year at Baruch. You’ll be matched to a peer mentor who can serve as your guide, a friend, or someone you can approach with any questions. You will start your Baruch experience having already met a group of peers who will be part of your support system as you navigate the College. During our monthly workshops, you’ll learn tips and tricks for excelling while further cultivating connections within our community.
