The Baruch Leadership Academy takes place at Baruch College, a thriving, internationally ranked institution, located in the heart of New York City, midtown Manhattan. Leadership Academy students experience college as they have access to Baruch College’s state-of-the-art campus including the college’s library system. The Leadership Academy takes students on relevant field trips throughout New York City, allowing them to explore New York City, their career field of choice, and meet with successful industry insiders. Students at the Leadership Academy are able to experience the unique culture and customs of New York City, an international hub for finance, fashion, business, and the arts.

Each specialized program at the Leadership Academy is specifically designed to prepare high school students for successful careers in a pre-professional study track of their choice. The 2020 Academy offers the following programs:

Each track at the Leadership Academy involves intensive classroom workshops and lectures from distinguished university professors and accomplished professionals. Academy students travel to field trips throughout New York City where they can connect the theories they learn in the classroom to practice in professional settings.
Prepare for the College Admissions Process and SAT Exams
Leadership Academy students are at an advantage because they are able to develop their passions in an environment that fosters academic enrichment, cultural stimulation, and real world experience. Students receive intensive college preparation that truly gives them the edge that they need to get into America’s top colleges.
Daily prep for the SAT® exam is provided at the Baruch College campus to all students enrolled in Leadership Academy.

Daily Schedule
Leadership Academy takes place Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. On Monday through Wednesday, students partake in the following schedule:

The Leadership Academy reserves Wednesday afternoons for our weekly socials. Thursdays are reserved for the SAT® exam assessments and for field trip exploration throughout New York City. Leadership Academy students have visited landmarks such as Wall Street, Times Square, and Grand Central, in addition to various museums, corporations, law firms, businesses, colleges, and professional schools throughout Manhattan.
Program Dates:
The 2020 Leadership Academy will run Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, from Monday, July 13, 2020 through Thursday, August 6, 2020.
Tuition:
- $2,995 for day students
- Program tuition includes: field trips, costs for trip meals, materials, instruction, SAT® prep, recreation, and a T-shirt. Not included in this charge are costs for travel expenses (commute to and from Leadership Academy) and incidentals.
- Non-Refundable Deposit: $250 (deposit will be deducted from total Leadership Academy tuition)
