Where Do I Start
Costs, Payment Options, and Terms
In an effort to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, during the Fall 2020 semester, we will be practicing social distancing in our residence hall by assigning only one person to each residence hall room; this includes a private bathroom for each student. All students who choose to live in the residence hall will be charged the double room rate fee of $15,795 for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Please note that the contract for housing is for the full academic year. Once you commit to housing, you are committing for the Fall and the Spring semester.
The College will monitor the situation carefully, and heed recommendations of local and state authorities. At this time, we reserve the option to assign a second student to residence hall rooms in the spring semester should health and safety conditions permit.
Students may opt to continue in a single room for the Spring term, and will be billed at our single rate for that semester; this would result in an increase of $2,902.50 for the upgrade.
Payments are made on a per-semester basis and are due with your academic tuition.
Yes. Students must file the FAFSA form* which is available on October 1 of each year for the following fall semester. Be sure to file early!
When answering the FAFSA housing plan questions, select “On Campus.” This response allows Financial Aid Services to estimate your correct Cost of Attendance (COA).
Please be advised that CUNY colleges do not prepackage undergraduate students with federal student loans. Students are required to request these loans by following a specific process.
Visit the Financial Aid Services site for more information. Note: this does not guarantee you housing with Baruch College.
All degree-seeking students, regardless of citizenship status, should also seek external scholarships from reliable search engines such as the ones discussed in this article.
*Undocumented and international students should not complete the FAFSA.
You may pay your bill in monthly installments through the Sallie Mae Tuition Pay plan, which has an application fee. Please visit the Baruch Bursar’s website for more information.
