Quick Guide – Department Chair – Reporting Interface and Mailing List Access
A Student Course and Faculty Evaluation Mailing List and Reporting Interface Access Form is required to grant, change or remove a user’s access to either the Student Course and Faculty Evaluation Administrative Mailing Lists or the Evaluation Reporting Interface.
Adding/Updating Access
Users seeking access to either the Mailing List or the Reporting Interface, download and complete Sections A, B, C and D of the Access Form. They must have their supervisor complete Section E. No user may approve their own request.
For example:
- If the request is for a Department/Program Staff, they must have their Department Chairs complete the Approval in Section E.
- If the request is for a Department Chair/Program Director, they must have either their Dean, Dean’s Designee, Provost or Vice President complete the Approval in Section E
- If the request is for a Dean, they must have the Provost or Provost’s Designee complete the Approval in Section E
Removing Access
If a supervisor determines that a user should no longer have access to the Mailing List and the Student Course and Faculty Evaluation Reporting Interface, they may submit to the Office of Testing and Evaluation the SCFE Access Deactivation Form which will remove all administrative access granted. This will not impact faculty members ability to view their own evaluations or students from completing evaluations.
If the supervisor needs to reduce the access level the user currently has, they may submit the SCFE Access Request Form, without the employee’s signature, by completing Sections A1, A2, B, D, and E.
Users Leaving Departments/College
If a user with access to either the Mailing List and/or the Reporting Interface leaves the Department which requested access or leaves the college. The user or their supervisor is required to submit either an updated Access Request form (Completing Sections A1, A2 and E) or the SCFE Access Deactivation Form.
Users Transferring Between Departments
Access does not transfer between departments.
If a user with access to either the Mailing List and/or the Reporting Interface transfers to another department/program, the department/program which requested access must submit a request to terminate the access requested by the department. Then the new department must submit a new request for access.
