The Success Network is a cohort-based program aimed to provide students from underrepresented populations, in particular Black and Latinx students, with the necessary tools to graduate. We guide our students through academic and social integration as they transition into college. The Success Network utilizes an intensive pre-college seminar, monthly workshops during the academic year, as well as peer mentoring to propel our students to involve themselves in co-curricular activities on campus, move successfully toward graduation, and be career-ready.
Some of the resources available to Success Network students are:
- Peer Mentors
- Monthly Workshops
- Free Cultural Activities
- Study Hours

Success Network is a community of students, faculty, staff, and alumni dedicated to supporting one another along their journey at Baruch. As a network, we leverage our connections to share resources and opportunities to propel our students towards success. We create a place for students to feel welcomed, make friends, have fun, and grow. Watch the video below to learn about Veronica’s journey in Success Network.
How to Join
Students receive an invitation to join Success Network the summer before their freshman year. In July, students invited to join Success Network receive an email with a registration link. If they accept, students join us for a Boot Camp before the start of the semester.
Success Network Boot Camp
At Baruch, we work to equip students with all the tools they need to be successful. Boot Camp is a series of workshops and activities designed to ease students’ transition to college while connecting them to a network of support. Success Network Boot Camp will cover topics like leadership, teamwork, and more. Peer Mentors will share their experiences and teach students how to navigate their transition to college. Boot Camp will offer a chance for new students to connect with classmates and make friends before the semester begins. Success Network Boot Camp is part of a larger mentoring program offered to incoming underrepresented, in particular Black and Latinx, first-year students. Students take part in academic, cultural, and social activities geared toward their academic success throughout their first year. Success Network students make connections with faculty and staff, and outstanding alumni.
Our Success Network students have gone on to work at the following companies:
- Ernst & Young
- General Mills
- Bank of America
