CUNY mandates all students taking an in-person/hybrid course to receive their COVID-19 booster when eligible, and to upload their documentation on CUNYfirst.
Eligible for your COVID-19 Booster?
You will become eligible for the booster:
- Five months after the second shot of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine
- Two months after the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine
Booster Documentation Deadlines
(All students taking in-person/hybrid course)
- 3/1/22 for students to upload booster proof if they are eligible for the booster on January 28, 2022
- 30 days after the first eligible deadline for students if they are eligible for the booster after January 28, 2022
Review your deadlines to receive your booster and upload your proof on CUNYfirst to ensure your enrollment for your next semester’s courses! A user guide can help you how to upload your vaccination documentation. You can also watch Student Vaccination Verification Tutorial for a video guide.

Apply for your the Excelsior Scholarship
The Spring 2022 Excelsior scholarship application is available until March 7. All eligible New York State (NYS) residents are encouraged to apply. Don’t miss out! Application instructions and eligibility requirements can be found at https://www.hesc.ny.gov/.
File your FAFSA
Need Federal Student Aid for Summer 2022, Fall 2022, or Spring 2023? File your 2022-2023 FAFSA Today! The 2022-2023 FAFSA is available, at https://studentaid.gov/. Don’t forget to obtain or retrieve your Federal Student Aid ID at fsaid.ed.gov to sign the 2022-2023 FAFSA electronically; If dependent, at least one of your parents will need one too. Baruch’s Federal Code is 007273. The NYS TAP (NY residents only) code is 1409.
